have led to an art project I'm actually proud of! I don't really know if I consider the art done yet, because I'm still debating whether or not I want to risk the skin screwing up the picture, since I haven't colored the skin yet. I couldn't find any PrismaColor pencils I thought fit the skintones well enough, and I'm going to make a decidion on the skin tomorrow, I guess.

Anywho, apart from my incoherrent babbling about skin. I had this idea the night before July 4th, at like.. 4 AM. I almost got up to start, but I told myself to go to sleep, and I started to plan the drawing while I tried to get to sleep. The idea I had was related to both Tsubasa and xxxHolic, and how CLAMP seems to have a thing for the eyes and all that. I'm sure a lot of you who've read both series know wtf I'm talking about. I'd go into detail describing it, but I'll let you see it for yourselves.

For as much as I could yesterday, I found reference pictures for the drawing, and then finally completed a pencil sketch that I was damn proud of, if I do say so myself.

After that, I decided I was going to spend today inking the image, and coloring it, so.. I did. It took the majority of today to finish, not counting the skin, but I think it turned pretty damn good, compared to other things I've drawn.

Now, I do have a question. Do you think I should risk fucking up the picture to color the skin with a colored pencil that's far too pink, or leave the real-life version as it is? Whatever the majority says may not end up influincing me in the end, but it will probably help. So.. yeah, what do you think?

Also, if you're wondering why I didn't post this to here as a deviation, the reason is that I'm going to try a digitally colored version, and I want to put that up here when it's finished. That, and I'm still not sure if I'm done with the real-life version, what with the skin and all. So.. yeah.

This probably doesn't make any sense at all. But I put a hell of a lot of time into it. The better part of the past 2 days, thank you very much. So.. tell me your thoughts.
